Charging Pile Solutions

Our solutions are designed for electric vehicle charging piles, including AC charging piles, DC fast charging piles, and high-power power supply modules. We provide advanced structural bonding, thermal management, and environmental protection materials to enhance the waterproofing, dust resistance, and safety of charging equipment. These materials ensure stable and efficient operation throughout the lifecycle of the charging system, making them indispensable for the construction of new energy vehicle charging networks and smart grid applications.

Potting and TIM are not interchangeable

Potting surrounds or fills a defined cavity to protect selected electronics and may also contribute to insulation, environmental protection or heat transfer. A thermal interface material is placed between a heat source and a heat-spreading structure to manage the interface. A charging assembly may use both, but the decision should follow the heat path, geometry, electrical boundary, assembly method and service plan. Review the thermal interface materials category for interface options and the new energy thermal conductive potting adhesive page for a potting entry point.

Charging connector and cable protection

Connector and cable areas combine electrical insulation, sealing, mechanical movement and handling loads. Confirm the actual plastics, metals, cable jacket and coatings before requesting a recommendation. If a connector is potted, keep mating surfaces, vents, test points and service boundaries free from unintended material. Validate adhesion, sealing and mechanical retention on the finished assembly rather than relying on a generic material description.

Project information for sample evaluation

Send the charger type (AC, DC fast or power-supply module), target component, drawing or photos, substrates and coatings, thermal path, gap or fill depth, dispensing equipment, cure sequence, expected volume, outdoor exposure, service/rework requirement and required tests. Ask for the exact grade TDS/SDS and relevant reports. JIADI’s epoxy potting adhesive, polyurethane potting adhesive and silicone product families can then be compared against the project boundary.
